Still Raising Hell

Billops-Hatch Exhibition Opening

Thursday, September 15, 2016

6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Robert W. Woodruff Library | 540 Asbury Circle | Atlanta, GA 30322

You and your guests are invited to join Camille Billops and James V. Hatch at an opening reception Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. at Emory’s Robert W. Woodruff Library to celebrate an exhibition that showcases the couple’s lives and explores the meaning and purpose of African American art.

Since 2002 the Rose Library has been home to the comprehensive collection – playscripts, photographs, works of art, and more – of these two leading stewards of African American history.

Please join us as we honor these dynamic artists, activists, and collectors, who have been raising hell – and raising public consciousness – for more than 50 years.

We wish to thank our generous sponsors of this exhibition (as of August 10, 2016):

Trailblazer ($1,000+)
Nancy and Randall Burkett
Yolanda Cooper
Juanita and Neil Hartbarger
Juanita and Mel Hardy

Vanguard ($250+)

Carla and Cleophus Thomas

Attendees are asked to park in Fishburne Parking Deck (link to parking deck map/directions).
